NEWS! AND DVD UPDATE: 3/10/09
So how's this for my morning? I wake up at Lisa's, take off around 10 am, get back to my apartment around 10:30 am, start importing my new Demo Reel CD I made over the weekend at Thom and Kathy Reese's place, and I start to hear a buzzing noise.
I had forgotten that my phone was still on a relatively low volume from when I woke up and I didn't set it back to full. I quickly grabbed it out of my jacket and saw it was a number I didn't recognize. As I opened up my phone, they hung up. I quickly called the number back and told them I had received a call from that number. They said it must've been a wrong number, however the minute I hung up with them, the number called me back. It was Diane, one of the managers at Television City in the MGM Grand!

She wanted to offer me a FULL-TIME POSITION AS TELEVISION MODERATOR/RECRUITER!!!!!!!!!!!! Naturally I said YES!!!!!!!!!!! She told me that I'd need to fill out the necessary paper work and have drug test done. Of course, seeing that I had only about an hour left before work started for the day, I told her that plus I was leaving for Florida on Thurs. Well she began the typical spiel of "Well, if you're not interested..." but I gave up my inhibitions of being late to Metro and jumped on the chance to get to MGM and fill out the paperwork, regardless of the fact I hadn't showered and was wearing the clothes I had on from yesterday (which I still do, fyi.)
I got to MGM, and who should be there to greet me, but Thom Reese! "You look terrible!" he said. Although having told Diane that I wouldn't be showing up in my usual well-dressed way, she was ok with that, and obviously Thom was in on that and used it to make his little joke. I filled out all the paperwork and tomorrow I am going to get a drug test. Or a hair test in this case! I AM SO HAPPY!!!! I am ready to leave Metro now. Having worked there a little over 2 years now, I am ready to move on. I'll be going into Television City full time working a combination mid and swing shift. Plus I'll not only be working with Thom, but Jeff Granstrom as well! I guess we might as well be the new 3 Stooges! :-D. I've DONE IT! I GOT A JOB! I GOT A JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Remember how fun it was seeing a date that had the same numbers lined up? Like 2/2/02, 4/4/04/, and especially 6/6/06? Well, it may not be 3/3/03, but 3/3/09 is still pretty cool! Anyways, here's this week's DVD UPDATE!
